Accident Delmas Road Today

Two people were killed in a head-on collision on the R50 near Daybreak in Delmas early this morning. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene at around 06:00 and found both drivers trapped inside their severely damaged vehicles. Both were declared dead at the scene. The accident involved Graeme Bath (58), the husband of DA Councillor Diane Bath, who, along with her son, was present at the scene. The identity of the second victim has not yet been released. All emergency services responded and had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the bodies. The cause of the accident is under police investigation[2].
